And don't you just love when people in a forum completely disagree.
Like when the cup physics supposedly suck so much that you can feel a revolt coming on, then the physics are changed, and a different group of people said they liked them how they were.

I actually think it's perfect density. Any more, and we won't be able to see the course as well.

The fact that we're involved in this course shows the excitement this one has.

Evidently, it wasn't obvious. I am one of those that can't spell Course Forge. I was pointing to myself because I was suggesting things without knowing what was possible or feasible.

Being almost 5,000 ft. I'd like to see the fairways, tee boxes and greens a little frostier. Not too much or you won't see the ball, but  they're a little too green for that elevation imo.

Yes i'm leaving that for now, i'm not very good at blending blemishes into a plain texture, i get tiling somewhere or a straight line here and there, i need to investigate more and pick some brains.

I believe it's 4479 meters.

Ya, that's what the splash screen says, LOL. "Almost 5,000 ft. is close enough for government work, imo.

4479 m is approximately 14,695 ft., so it's not even close enough for "government work" ...  LOL

5000 ft is 1524 m, and I believe Unity uses metric/SI units.  I don't use CF/Unity, so I'm not certain if there is a way to enter the course coordinates in imperial units.

Some new pics....I'm up to 58 snowfall clusters and 33 snow particle squalls...the good news is that framerate is holding pretty well up to now, i'm testing the build after every hole, all good so far!

The par 5 6th is totally a reachable dogleg hole, to shorten the approach players can drive over the icy lake and up the cliff, be warned that there are fw bunkers ready to gobble up the wayward.  Or you can leave a longer shot in by playing safely up the right hand side.

Holes 7 and 8 will see a deep water filled fissure come into play, more so on the 8th which is a 500 yd par 4, taking a chance to drive up to the fw bottle neck will give the player a shorter approach, play safe and find yourself playing a 5 or even 3w over the fissure and onto the green.
